As a veteran fashion photographer and director, Sinisha Nisevic shoots 'the story' as art. Born in Croatia, with repeat family trips to Switzerland over the years, Sinisha became increasingly interested in foreign travel and decided to attend boarding school in the United States during his formative teenage years. While attending boarding school in Los Angeles, California, Sinisha quickly gravitated to the arts; he played in a couple of garage bands, studied film, and picked up a professional photo camera for the very first time. Sinisha quickly became captivated by the view through the lens, and moved to Paris and later New York where he established relationships that brought him to the forefront of fashion photography. Some of Sinisha's earliest shoots included editorial work for Citizen K, an advertising campaign for Kenzo, and he was featured in 'Fashion Image De Mode' as 'The Shock Of The New' best fashion photographer. Sinisha was embraced not only for his technical skill as a photographer, but also for his vision as a storyteller. Influenced by his early film studies in Los Angeles, Sinisha's photography 'reads' like cinematic art. There are no still shots; there is only the vision of a story as it unfolds, captured in a single frame. It is this penchant for capturing 'the story' as art that has attracted brands such as Adidas, Wella, Paul Mitchell, Johnnie Walker, and Italian Vogue, among others, to work with Sinisha. |
